Unscramble Wizard ("we", "us", "the site") operates the word-game tools site at unscramblewizard.com. Our contact is /contact.

Information we collect

Automatically collected

• Server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, referrer, timestamp) kept up to 90 days by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic (page views, session duration, rough geographic region). Cookies as described below. We use the anonymize_ip setting so Google receives a truncated IP rather than your full address.
• Advertising. We may display ads from Google AdSense and other ad networks. These networks may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing activity. Each ad partner's privacy practices apply to data they collect. You can opt out of personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.

You provide voluntarily

• Letters you type into our tools. When you use the Word Unscrambler, Wordle Solver, Anagram Solver, or any other tool, the letters you enter are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit or store the letters you type.
• Email correspondence. If you email us via /contact, we keep the message and your address only as long as needed to respond.

Cookies

Cookies are used for:

• Analytics. Google Analytics drops _ga and related cookies to distinguish visitors and measure session duration.
• Advertising. Third-party ad networks may drop cookies to personalize ads, frequency-cap repeat impressions, and measure ad effectiveness.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies does not affect your ability to use any of the tools on this site.

Third-party services

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Server logs: 90 days. Analytics: per Google Analytics retention settings (we use the default, currently 14 months for event-level data). Email correspondence: kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.

Children's privacy

Unscramble Wizard is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
